I see people driving around with these full window decals and I've often wondered if they think they are being followed by giant eagles, or flocks of turkeys, or heards of deer, etc...
Thanks for watching!

I know some kids in SD who have removed their driver side mirror and replaced it with a gun rest... just in case they see a coyote. Now, if you do that, you are a bonified red neck, or if you've ever taken game from your vehicle or gutted something you hit :)

In the past, I've actually used one for safe "in-vehicle" storage of levels and other long construction tools. I'm probably not representing my red-neck roots very well by saying that... oh well.

I see gun racks in Cabela's all the time, but they are of no use to us here. We can't even have ammo and the firearm in the same area of the vehicle unless both are completely inaccesble by people in the vehicle (like a car's trunk). I guess the laws a bit more lienant than I thought in more states than I had previously thought.

Actually in most Midwestern and Southern states it is perfectly legal to run around with an uncased weapon. Ever heard of a gun rack? It isn't uncommon to see guys driving around with two rifles hanging in the back window of their pickup trucks in open daylight around here.
I know I'm avoiding the obvious, but I'm not totally comfortable giving away my location...
As always, thanks for stopping by! |
