My tripod is only a stills camera type which is unsuitable for quick panning and tilt shots because it sticks and binds up. Now got a fluid-head film tripod on my wish list.

Great footage. Where I used to work there were a pair of Kestrel's who I could observe at least a couple of times a week but I've moved on since and I miss watching them :(
I remember observing a Kestrel once in very high winds and I could not get over how they could still manage to hover in the air with such ease.

very good : -).....it's closer than I expected from what you said.......must've be a nightmare trying to keep up with it as it changed direction, while you were zoomed in!!! |
